Heather Ramsey - Artist Bio

Heather is a third generation San Diegan, born in 1968. She grew up with sand between her toes, only a bike ride from the beach.
Heather studied at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California and graduated in 1993 with honors, receiving a BFA in Illustration.Since graduating, Heather has worked as a freelance illustrator in the field of Editorial Art and has been published nationwide. Heather's work is greatly influenced by Amedeo Modigliani, Frida Kahlo and Egon Schiele. Her medium of choice is acrylic paints, with the use of handmade papers and poetic script running throughout her work.

Heather continues to show her work in local galleries throughout San Diego and beyond.
